Welcome to tomcat’s documentation!

tomcat, or TOroidal Mode Conversion & Absorption Tool is a 1D wave equation solver based on [Van Eester & Koch, Plasma Phys. Control. Fusion 40 (1998) 1949-1975] written in Fortran making use of BLAS. The code compiles to a binary which takes unix-like commands, as will be explained in Usage.
